You Make the Difference: Support MoPA Exhibitions!
New ideas, exploration, appreciation, learning, wonder, and sharing—the Museum of Photographic Arts offers all this and more. MoPA is about ideas and opportunities to explore everything photography and film offer.
Thanks to yearly support from donors like you, more than 100,000 visitors attended our exhibitions in 2007! MoPA inspired over 18,000 children and their teachers through our education programs. Several lectures featuring photographers such as Phillip Sholtz Ritterman, Michael Lundgren, and Stephen Berkman stirred creativity into the general public.
In 2009, MoPA will be an active participant in redefining the future of photography and film in a visually oriented society. We will reach new and diverse audiences by reexamining the history and exploring new work in photography and film. We will continue with inspiring and innovative youth programs, and are working towards having our library and collections accessible online.
Exhibition sponsorship at MoPA offers significant philanthropic and marketing opportunities. It allows you to support a major San Diego cultural institution and to receive substantial exposure and acknowledgment and tax-benefit. Special exhibitions at the museum are among the most respected, publicized, and popular in the city and travel internationally. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available at various levels of commitment. MoPA is pleased to work with you to develop a plan that meets your needs and budget and is delighted to partner with individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies to present its exciting exhibitions to a large audience.
