Late Night Thursdays

This summer, Balboa Park comes alive after 5 with extended hours at participating museums, including MOPA! We’ll be open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays from June 2 – September 1, 2016.*  On these evenings, you’ll have a chance to see our current exhibitions, films and hands-on activities. Plus, as in recent years, MOPA is partnering with The Prado to bring you a special dinner package. Explorer passholders and MOPA members receive free general admission. Not a member? Join today!

June 9  MOPA closed between 4 – 8 p.m. for private event.

Binational Dance Project – special performance by Lux Boreal and the PGK Dance Project
July 28  Enjoy MOPA’s exhibitions until 8 p.m.
August 4 (closed from 4-5 p.m. for setup) MOPA Shop Art Bazaar
August 11  Redemption, pop-up exhibition in partnership with The San Diego Multicultural LGBT Literary Foundation
August 18  San Diego Italian Film Festival: Zoran, II Mio Nipote Scemo
August 25  Pokémon Go Museum Night
September 1  Last Late Night Thursday of 2016! Enjoy MOPA’s exhibitions until 8 p.m.
