Mondriaan Fund supports Visual Learning

In early October, MOPA said goodbye to Beauty and The Beast: Animal in Photography exhibition to make way for Boundless: A California Invitational. More than 42,000 visitors experienced Beauty and The Beast and were exposed to some images that captured the inner “beast” in all of us.

This success was in part because of the Mondriaan Fund, a foundation based in Amsterdam. The exhibition featured the works of four well-revered Dutch artists, and the Mondriaan Fund provided a grant to help underwrite costs associated with those images. It also supported MOPA to host a members-only event with artist Hendrik Kerstens.

By partnering with a well-known, international foundation, such as the Mondriaan Fund, MOPA is not only making friends on the global scale but demonstrating its commitment to furthering its international presence. We thank the Mondriaan Foundation for its support and look forward to working with the organization again soon.
