MOPA’s Solidarity Message to the API Community

We stand with our Asian Pacific Islander family, friends, partners, members and artists.

Friends, know that you have a forum in us: An ally. Our team at the Museum of Photographic Arts grieves with you, and we join your voice against anti-Asian acts of violence.

We encourage our community to stand by the API community by amplifying and supporting actions by groups
against anti-Asian hate.

API artists have been instrumental to the photographic arts in both local and international landscapes. Locally, Pacific Arts Movement has compiled a robust set of resources.

We also encourage you to learn about the San Diego API Coalition.

Everyone deserves to live free of fear, away from any narrative that undermines the value of a human being.
