APA San Diego and MOPA are proud to welcome local adventure photographer Travis Burke. Join us for a special one-night event including a photographic talk and slide presentation at the Museum of Photographic Arts on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
From scraping grease out of restaurant vents at night to becoming an award-winning landscape and commercial photographer, Travis believes that with a strong work ethic and a passion for chasing his dreams, he can do anything he sets his mind to. Four years ago, Travis embarked upon the ultimate road trip in his self-converted campervan from his Grandmother with only $81 in his pocket and a dream that he would soon make a reality. “I knew I had to take a leap of faith and commit my entire life to what I loved if I ever wanted to become successful at it.” Whether it’s walking on a slackline over canyons, freediving through caves in the ocean or capturing the Milky Way Galaxy from remote locations, Travis is constantly pushing himself and the boundaries of his craft.
