CULTURE Trek: David Levinthal
December 14, 2018 @ 10:00 am - December 14, 2018 @ 11:30 am
Join us on December 14 to explore the colorful large-scale Polaroids by photographer David Levinthal.
Levinthal uses toys and props to create miniature scenes packed with references to American visual culture. Engaging with a wide range of topics, from race and identity to beauty and sexuality, the artist used a unique large-format Polaroid camera to photograph this particular set of images.
This CULTURE trek will introduce MOPA’s permanent collection, explore the work of the artist, and invite attendees to see the prints up close.
Kevin Linde, MOPA’s Adult Programs Manager, will lead this members-only curated conversation. Space is limited, so be sure to register today!
