The MGSDII and Museum of Photographic Arts invite you to an exclusive sneak screening of the acclaimed documentary that details the life and career of Israel's most celebrated war photographer, Micha Bar-Am. Photojournalist Micha Bar Am is considered the most important chronicler of the State of Israel. His highly regarded photographs have documented Israel’s struggles and aspirations, highs and lows, armed conflicts and everyday life. In the film, questions and self-doubt surface, in a profound exploration of photography, memory, and the personal cost of a life devoted to recording a conflict and the building of a nation.
Join us for a complimentary reception at 5:30 pm, and a conversation with the film's creator Ran Tal, an internationally renowned documentary filmmaker, after the film.
