ReFramed: Conservation in an urbanized world (Online Event)
May 26, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - May 26, 2022 @ 7:00 pm
Join a conversation with photographer Nick Brand and scientist Dr. Kirstie Ruppert from the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance for a discussion about wildlife conservation in an increasingly urbanized world.
In the past century alone, a vast range of flora and fauna have faced extinction directly related to vanishing habitats. We’ll gain insights from Nick Brandt on his project This Empty World, which sheds light on the impact of humans on the environment. Dr. Kristie Ruppert will build out our understanding of ongoing conservation efforts vital to ensuring the future biodiversity of the planet we all call home.
