MARCH 9th @ 6:00 PM: TRUE SD Screenings- The Realist Tendency – Shorts Program (180 mins)
This block showcases films based on true stories. Each film was adapted from a story provided by So Say We All- a writer’s group in San diego who tell compelling stories about real life events. Several of the films in this program were produced through the True San Diego Film Consortium Competition- a competition where teams had 60 days to adapt a true story and produce the film. Several shorts were also produced through the Film Consortium’s “Make a Short Film on a Low (or no!) Budget” Workshop and are also adaptations of So Say We All stories.
