The San Diego Italian Film Festival (SDIFF) returns to in-person screenings at the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@SDMA) with six films screened in person and 13 virtual short film selections.

The San Diego Italian Film Festival delivers feStivale 2023, an unforgettable cultural experience with a powerful theme: Forward. FeStivale 2023 showcases captivating feature films, two shorts screening evenings with thirteen shorts from our Ristretto Award competition, and a big party, feSta, to celebrate the 17th edition of feStivale 2023.

Through the art of storytelling, the San Diego Italian Film Festival celebrates our shared humanity and the joys of coming together to rise as one. Join us as we embark on a journey of hope, inspiration, and unity, discovering the remarkable stories that illuminate our path Forward.

Welcome to the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art!

As of July 1, 2023, the Museum of Photographic Arts and The San Diego Museum of Art have merged to become one unified institution. The Museum of Photographic Arts is now the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@SDMA).

MOPA@SDMA remains a pay-what-you wish museum open Thursdays through Sundays 11:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
