Human Rights Watch Film Festival hits its mark.

This year’s Human Rights Watch Film Festival has come to a close. Now in its third year, we hosted six powerful documentary films showcasing contemporary social issues, ranging from LGBT activists in Uganda to the underreported epidemic of rape in the US Military. With 1,175 attendees at the festival, MOPA is  proud to have brought our community together to witness the impact that the cinematic lens has when courageous individuals share their stories.
